Experience
Alyssa Malchiodi brings over a decade of civil litigation and business law experience in California and Nevada. She focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, insurance defense, intellectual property, construction-related matters, and business advisory work.
Ms. Malchiodi began her legal career in 2011 as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Valorie J. Vega in the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada, where she analyzed and drafted rulings on a wide range of civil and criminal motions, including summary judgment, dismissal, and post-judgment matters. This experience provided her with a comprehensive understanding of courtroom procedure and judicial decision-making.
Ms. Malchiodi has practiced with several Southern California firms, handling insurance defense and complex civil litigation matters from inception through trial. Her work included drafting dispositive motions, managing complex discovery, preparing cases for mediation and trial, and representing clients at depositions, hearings, and civil jury trials in both California and Nevada. She also served as second chair in a two-week civil jury trial in Las Vegas, Nevada.
From 2020 to 2023, Ms. Malchiodi practiced as an associate attorney with a business litigation firm where she drafted extensive pleadings, discovery, and settlement documents while advising clients on business strategy and compliance matters.
In March 2023, she founded Legal Doer APC, an online business-focused law practice providing strategic legal counsel and education to online businesses, with an emphasis on contract drafting and negotiation, intellectual property protection, transactional law matters, and regulatory compliance in the digital space.
Ms. Malchiodi has been associated with Thomas Lucas Whirl since 2024 assisting in complex litigation matters, including insurance defense, construction defect litigation, and personal injury cases.
